A LITTLE ABOUT ME

First off I want to say congratulations on you up coming wedding.  I have been in the wedding and portrait professional photography business since 1982, yes that is a long time but this is what I love to do.  I have been learning that whole time, I have my Masters and Craftsman degrees in photography.  I am also one of only a few with the hard to achieve Certified Professional Photographer designation.

One of the important things that you need to know about me is that I want everything that I do for you to be better that I would do for my own family.  That is not to say that they are no important but you deserve my best and I will do everything I can to achieve that.

 CHOOSING YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Be aware there are many new wedding photographers out there, today anyone with a digital camera thinks they can be a wedding photographer.  It's not the camera but the knowledge of experience and training.  The pricing of digital wedding photography  reflects the skill and experience of the photographer.  Would you trust your most cherished memories to someone who is practicing with your wedding images.

There are only a few things in life that are done once, they are birth, baptism, first communion and the first time you say I do, I am sure there are others but you get my point.

Today it's important to choose someone you like and feel completely comfortable with and know they have the experience.  Your time and planning are valuable, don't try and save a few hundred dollars on your photography and be sorry after the wedding.  The typical amount spent on wedding photography is about 17% of the total for the wedding.

You will be spending most of your wedding day with your photographer, and the connection you make with them from the start will have an outcome in the photography.  Secondly, find a wedding photographer that is going to treat your wedding as if it is an event of theirs.  He / She should have a vision for photographing a wedding event and it should show in their work.  For a timeless look , find a wedding photographer who is will versed and proficient in their style and composition.     It is a good idea to look and book your wedding photographer as soon as possible, the best will book fast.
